How to complete Amber’s Story Quest Mondstadt Glider¶
Mondstadt Glider is the third quest of Amber’s story quest: Wind, Courage, and Wings. This page will walk you through all possible steps to complete it.

Description¶
As it turned out, the book Amber gave you wasn’t a manual, but a fairy tale… After completing the first test out in the wild, you learn that the second test is to take place within the city of Mondstadt itself. Amber is waiting for you there.
Steps¶
- Go to the door of Mondstadt Cathedral
- Follow the route and fly to the finish line in time
- Follow the route and fly to the finish line in time (part 2)
Go to the door of Mondstadt Cathedral¶
Teleport back to Mondstadt, and head to the Cathedral, which is just north of the plaza, and as you get close to it, the objective will update to talk to Amber. She can be found opposite of the Catherdral’s doors, head over, and talk to her. She’ll tell you she’s all set up, and it’s the same rules as before, glide through the markers, and get to the finish without stopping.
Follow the route and fly to the finish line in time¶
This course is a little tougher, but nothing too extraordinary. Jump over the balcony, into the first set of acceleration circles, and follow that to the next set, which are resting near the top of the large statue in the plaza, as you go through them, you’ll need to use the wind current beside you to navigate into the next set because it will start slightly behind you.
Follow the rings between the wing and head of the statue, and head east, through the next set. Once again, use the wind current to navigate to the southwest, which is where you’ll find the next set. Go through them, and you’ll notice a long line of circles, going over the Favonius HQ, follow them across, to the top of it, where Amber will be waiting for you. Talk to her, and you’ll get another challenge.
Follow the route and fly to the finish line in time (part 2)¶
Climb on to the wall, and glide east, towards the windmill, the next set will lead you to the northeast, and then the next set will lead you to the east again, then southeast after. This course is basically taking you around the windmill, and will end outside the Favonius HQ, where you’ll get a scene with Otto, one of the Knights of Favonius. He’ll ask for your gliding license, and Amber will explain to him that you’re taking the exam for it right now. Furthermore, he’ll tell you that it’s a bad time to take the exam right now, because the sister at the Cathedral spotted Raptor gliding around these parts, and thought you were his partner in crime.
Paimon will ask who Raptor is, and allegedly he is a criminal in Mondstadt, who use his Wind Glider to commit the crimes, the Knights tried to trick Raptor into the Cathedral to with an artifact, but he escaped with the artifact. Thankfully one of the Sisters coated the artifact with elemental magic, but they were too slow to keep up with him. Amber will tell the Knight, that if he needs help chasing a gliding criminal, she’s the one for the job, and ask which way the criminal went. Apparently he was last seen near Springvale. The scene will end, as will the quest.

Hmm, do you have any other quests open that she may be involved in, like an Archon Quest (main story) which involves her? What I would do is, complete any other quests you are currently doing alongside the Amber story quest, then she if she's come back.
I have a problem... At first I didn't know where to get the wing glider so I went out of the city but when I came back I don't know where Amber is anymore. I even looked in the cathedral.
