Your time in Sumeru isn’t over just because you completed the Archon Quest. Nahida’s story quest will be available to unlock directly afterward and gives you a look into a more peaceful Sumeru. The guide below goes over how to complete Nahida’s story quest and gives you a bit of information about what takes place during Nahida’s stroll around Sumeru City.

How to Unlock¶

To unlock Nahida’s story quest, you must have completed Akasha Pulses, The Kalpa Flame Rises, be Adventure Rank 40, and use one story key. To get the story key, you need to complete eight daily commissions and redeem them in your quest menu.

Description¶

The Akasha has stopped functioning, the city of scholars is no longer fanatical about pursuing knowledge, and the right to dream has been returned to Sumeru’s citizenry.
All of a sudden, dreams — erstwhile “old friends” that have become novelties — are the talk of the town in Sumeru City. Even those poker-faced crocodiles must yawn sometimes. Now is the perfect time to loosen up and listen to their chit-chat!

Dream of Awakening¶

To start the quest, head back to Sumeru City and speak with Pedrush. After speaking with him, you will follow him down the street to speak with a crowd of people. You will want to speak with Ilman, and afterward, you will head to Vimara Village to investigate a nearby camp that is filled with Hilichurls, make quick work of them to proceed onward. Return to Sumeru City to talk about the situation.

Dream of Falling¶

You will now head to Chatrakam Cave. You will need to save a woman named Kathya from a group of Fungi and Spectors. Once this is done, you will once again head back to Sumeru City. This time, Pedrush, where you will investigate a young woman who is asleep.

Dream of Farewell¶

After checking on the woman, you will be thrown into the story domain. Here is where you will get to try out Nahida with your current team. After a brief stint in the domain, you will find a rift and pop out in a local shop. Here you will need to use Nahida to read the mind of Debbi, by holding in her elemental skill.

This will lead you back into the domain and then finally to Sumeru City, where you will need to read minds once more. After you read the minds of the NPCs in the plaza another cutscene will play, and the plaza will fill with Hilichurls and Fungi. After taking these down, a Riftwolf will spawn, defeat it to see the ending of Nahida’s story quest.
