Mr. Zhu seems to want to use the Lantern Rite to pick his business up a little…

Steps¶

1. Talk to Mr. Zhu
2. Give Xiao Lantern Materials to Dummy
3. Hang the Xiao Lantern on the side of the inn’s door
4. Meet Mr. Zhu the following afternoon (12 - 18)
5. Send out invitations to nearby people
6. Talk to Jianqiu
7. Escort the two to a high point to release the Xiao Lantern

Talk to Mr. Zhu / Hang the Xiao Lantern on the side of the inn’s door¶

Upon completing Currents Deep Beneath the Lanterns, travel to the Statue of the Seven located north of Liyue Harbor, then walk northwest to find Mr. Zhu. Speak with him, then give Dummy some Xiao Lantern Materials.

Now fast forward the time from anywhere between (12.00-18.00) and speak to Mr. Zhu again, then go over to the nearby blue markers and give Zhenxiang and Uncle Liu an invitation.

Give Mr. Zhu Delicious Jewelry Soup¶

Report back to Mr. Zhu, then he’ll request a Delicious Jewelry Soup. To cook this you’ll need the following:

• Snapdragon x2 - You can purchase Snapdragon from Chloris who can be found walking along the path leading east of Mondstadt,
• Tofu x2 - You can purchase Tof from the Second Life General Goods.
• Lotus Head x1 - You can purchase Lotus Head from Bubu Pharmacy

After you’ve acquired the meal, take a seat and eat it with everyone, then speak Jianqiu. Finally, head up the mountain located southeast of the Statue of the Seven and watch Jianqiu release the lantern before returning to Mr. Zhu to complete this quest.
