Description¶

This ruin used to be a temple devoted to the Wolf of the North. Now, the priests are gone, and the temple has been seized by monsters. However, they say that the spirit of the Wolf still watches over the endless fields of Mondstadt from someplace else.

This Domain has three trials which only two can be completed in one attempt meaning you’ll have to do the Domain multiple times if you want all the rewards.

Recommended Party¶

Each trial will have different enemies with a different weakness so a balanced party of Pyro, Hydro, Cryo and Electro works best here, Anemo isn’t needed.

Domain Overview¶

When you first enter the Domain you will have to defeat the enemies to unlock the contraption. Start off with attacking the Hydro Orbs at the side of the enemies which will cast a rain field over the area and make the enemies have the Wet status, now attack them with an Electro character which will put the Electro-Charged status on them which will do continuous AoE Electro damage on them. Now interact with the contraption and choose your first trial.

In every trial there are some chests hidden amongst the rooms so be sure to search thoroughly, one particular chest can be found on the west side of the room on a raised platform, to get this, stand on the slightly raised platform the Door of Resurrection is sitting on and then jump diagonally towards the open ledge, once up there, jump up on to the crate and over to the second raised platform where the chest is situated.

Hydro Trial¶

In this trial you will encounter one Large Cryo Slime and three normal Cryo Slimes, Pyro will make quick work of them, once they are defeated, interact with the contraption and choose your next trial.

If you choose the Hydro Trial for a second time in a row, you will encounter a different group of enemies which consist of one, Cryo Abyss Mage and three Hilichurl Fighters. Attack the Hydro Orb in the center of the enemies to create a rain field and then attack them with Electro for the Electro-Charged status. Switch to Pyro to take down the remainder of their health.

When these Hydro Orbs are attacked, they create a rain like field which sets the enemies element to Wet

Electro Trial¶

In this Trial you will have to face off against one Wooden Shield Mitachurl, two Hilichurl Fighters and two Electro Hilichurl Shooters. To defeat these, use Cryo or Hydro for the smaller enemies and Pyro against the Mitachurl.

If you choose the Electro Trial for a second time in a row, you will face a Fatui Electro Cicin Mage, these can be tough since they can summon up to three Cicins. Start with Cryo to put the Superconduct status on them which will do continuous AoE Cryo damage to them and then switch to Pyro to finish it off, once they are defeated, interact with the contraption and choose your next trial.

Pyro Trial¶

This Trial will have four metallic machines spewing out fire, to avoid this mechanic, fight in between two of the machines. You will have to defeat two Large Pyro Slimes and two normal Pyro Slimes. Cryo and Electro reign supreme here because the Cryo will cause Melt on the enemies which increase the damage your Cryo will do to them and Hydro will cause Vaporize which is a slightly less stronger version of Melt, once they are defeated, interact with the contraption and choose your next trial.

If you choose the Pyro Trial for a second time in a row, you will encounter a different group of enemies which consist of one, Pyro Abyss Mage and four Hilichurl Fighters. Attack them with Hydro first for the Wet status and then switch to Cryo for the Frozen status which will hold them in place. Hydro will take down the Pyro Abyss Mages shield and Electro can be good for the Overload status.
