Genshin Impact

Electro Regisvine

By
Jessica Dillon

Like other Regisvines in the game, the Electro Regisvine is a stationary plant boss. It sits and attacks from the middle of the arena and has a shield that absorbs damage. Below is how to defeat the boss, as well as an overview of its attacks.

A huge vine that has morphed into a monster through the conduction of high-voltage currents through the Ley Lines.
Electricity surges constantly from its canopy like the unending rage of the earth itself.
Kshahrewar researchers once submitted that a complex circuit matrix might be set up around this creature to carry electrical energy to the city for use there. This plan was stridently opposed by scholars from Spantamad, who sacrificed 10 Shroomboars to drive home the point about the dangers of utilizing electricity.

Description

Similar to the game’s other Regisvine bosses, the Electro Regisvine boss fight revolves around breaking the boss’ core. Once this is done, the boss will enter a downed state with no shield, where the player can deal massive amounts of damage to the living plant.

This boss drops Thunderclap Fruitcore and Vajrada Amethyst, two resources that you need to ascend Cyno.

Attacks and Abilities

State Shift

State Shift ability.

This shifts the core between the Electro Regisvines roots and flower. When the shift occurs, a waning or waxing stamen will appear. Strike it with elemental reactions to cause an AoE to occur, dealing 300 percent attack as Electro damage.

Faceplant

Faceplant attack.

The Electro Regisvine slams its head into the arena dealing 100 percent of its attack as Electro damage and creating three shock waves that shoot straight out from its head. These waves can each deal 50 percent of the boss’s attack as Electro damage.

Half Flail and Flail

Flail attack.

The boss swipes its head quickly across the arena. The Electro Regisvine can do the Half Flail twice in a row. The attack will push your character away from the boss. This attack deals 75 percent Electro damage.

In the full flail attack, the boss swipes its head in a circle around the arena. This deals 75 percent Electro damage and will knock your character back. This always occurs after the Regisvine recovers from its downed state.

Laser Sweep

Laser Sweep attack.

The Electro Regisvine shoots a laser twice at its roots, dealing 75 percent of its attack as damage. The second version of this attack shoots a straightforward laser and follows your character dealing 25 percent damage per hit.

Rapid Fire

Rapid Fire attack.

The Regisvine shoots Electro shots from its flower buds that deal 40 percent Electro damage.

Thunderbolt Rain

Thunderbolt Rain attack.

The Regisvine rains Electro shots on the battlefield, dealing 40 percent attack damage with each hit. The area where each shot will land is marked by a purple circle.

Recommended Party

It’s best to avoid using Electro and physical attacks against the Electro Regisvine as it has a higher resistance to these. All other elements will do the same amount of damage to the enemy, but it’s best to have a bow-user to easily target the core when it moves to the center of the flower.

Strategy

Regisvines, in general, are pretty easy bosses to deal with. You can set up attacks, like Kokomi’s jellyfish, to pulse damage when the core is at the roots of the Electro Regisvine. When the core switches to the flower head, use charged arrows to quickly break down the boss’s shield.

The attacks of the Regisvine are simple to dodge. Just keep your distance, and only go in for the kill when the Regisvine goes into its downed states. Take advantage of the waning and waxing stamens to deal extra damage, and back up quickly after hitting the core with close-range attacks to avoid its flail attack.

Victory

Once the boss is defeated, a Trounce Blossom will bloom in the arena. You will need to interact with the blossom to claim your reward, and this will cost you 40 Resin.
