For this stage, the enemies come from two portals, one in the south, and one in the north of the middle lane. They’ll all move through the middle lane, passing each other until they reach the end of the lane, where the south group will head to our east portal whilst the north group heads to the west. The choke point in this stage is in the middle of the middle lane, which is where most of our Mechanici will be placed. As soon as all Mechanici are placed (Wave 2) start getting as many Pyro Wondrous Sticks as you can.
The enemies will come from both the purple portals in the north and the south, then they’ll cross paths in the middle, with the south group of enemies heading to our east portal, and the north group will head to the west. We start this wave of by placing eight Mechanici. Go next to the north portal, and place three Electro Mechanici’s in the first four panels. Two will be placed on the east panels, leading to your east portal, and the last one will be placed in the panel west of them (in the middle). Place the Pyro Mechanici on the panel southeast of that. Mirror the same setup for the south portal too, place the two Electro Mechanici blocking our west portal lane, with the third in front of them (in the middle), and place the Pyro northwest of it.
For this wave, we’ll finish our Mechanici setup. Place two Pyro Mechanici at the southern edge of the middle lane, and repeat it for the north. Finally, place two Electro Mechanici in the center panels of the lane. The Hydro Samachurls can be a pain here, sometimes, one of them may juke their way through everything, which may lead to you retrying if you’re really unlucky and want a perfect run. Thankfully, 95% of the time that won’t be the case. When you have all the Mechanici placed, you can start buffing them with Wondrous Sticks. You only need to focus on Pyro buffs for this stage, although you can pick the Electro Bombardier or Vengeance Sticks if they’re not restricted.
Now it starts to get tougher, Rock Shieldwall Mitachurls come into play, and Geo Samachurls are a bit more tankier, as well as having the Fleet-Footed trait, which gives them high movement speed. As the Mechanic is set, focus your time on getting Wondrous Sticks. Pyro should be the focus again, especially the Magma stick, which “Increases the effectiveness of Inferno’s Basic Attack against Geo.” If a Pyro Orb Stick appears, make sure it’s a priority, if you don’t have enough Veneficus Points for it (1500) then wait until some enemies die, so you can purchase it. Other than that, get the buffs in this order: Beacon (range), Wildfire (speed), and Embers (ATK up) Inflammation (DEF down). If Electro Sticks aren’t restricted, Bombardier and Vengeance are great to have as well, especially the former.
Another tough wave, with both enemy types having the Fleet-Footed trait. Using your characters to slow them down will help, but providing you aren’t unlucky, the Mechanici should take them out. In terms of setup, everything is done, so keep upgrading your Mechanici with the Wondrous Sticks using the list above.
Stonehide Lawachurl (Blocking Force Trait)(Stonebreaker Trait)
The last wave is more of the same, keep upgrading your Mechanici, and they’ll deal with them. The Stonehide Lawachurl that appears if you have the Hydro/Anemo Stick bans can cause some problems with their Blocking Force Trait, this allows them to stop all the Mechanici hit by this trait to stop their basic attacks for 10 seconds, thankfully, we have a lot of Pyro Mechanici that won’t get hit by it.
