How to complete the Archon Quest Sparks Amongst the Pages¶

This is designed to help you progress through the main story quest, known as Archon Quests in Genshin Impact. This specific page will guide you through the one-time story domain, Deep Within the Temple of Lion, where you’ll unlock Lisa at the end of it.

Meet Lisa at the Temple¶

Teleport to the Temple of Lion Domain, if you have it unlocked. As you get nearer to it, if you haven’t, it’s southeast of Mondstadt, near Falcon Coast. You’ll see Lisa, waiting there for you, head over and talk to her.

Enter the Temple¶

Upon interacting with the door, you’ll notice Deep Within the Temple of Lion, click on it, and it’ll take you to the party setup screen, once you’re read with your chosen party, start the Domain.

Talk to Lisa¶

As soon as you enter, you’ll see Lisa, waiting for you, by the doorway, at the top of the stairs, talk to her for a short scene, and when the scene ends, you’ll be in control of her.

Lisa is an Electro based character, who uses a catalyst as a weapon. Her Elemental Skill: Violet Arc will launch a homing Lightning Orb at the enemy dealing Electro damage on a single press, or if you hold the button down and charge it up, it’ll rain down lightning, hitting enemies in a large area of effect, whilst her Elemental Burst: Lightning Rose, will summon a Lightning Rose that unleashes powerful lightning bolts, launching surrounding enemies and dealing Electro DMG. The Lightning Rose will continuously emit lightning to knock back enemies and deal Electro DMG for so long as it persists.

Explore the temple’s depth¶

Continue west, and the camera will pan to the top of the tower, Lisa will mention that there is strong elemental energy coming deep within this temple. Head south until you reach a wind current, then jump and glide on top of it to take you to the next floor. As you land, you’ll see a Door of Resurrection and a device next to the door, interact with the device to open the door, and head through it.

Go down the stairs, and you’ll see a Pyro Slime, attack it with Lisa as Electro is strong against Pyro enemies, once it’s defeated, continue onwards, up the stairs and the door in front will open.

As you enter the next room, you’ll get another tutorial, explaining to you about Lisa’s skills, attack the Electro Torch with Lisa, as you do that, four Pyro Slimes will spawn, and you’ll have to defeat them in 20 seconds. Charge up your Elemental Skill and unleash her area of effect attacks, if you have her Elemental Burst available, use that too. When you’ve defeated them, the door to the next room will unlock, as will the Common Chest, open it up, and head through the door.

Continue west and the next room will have four Hilichurls, a chest, and a lot of water on the floor. You’ll get another tutorial, telling you about Elemental Reactions, more importantly, the Electro-Charged reaction, this will cause Electro DMG over time. It seems you can attack bodies of water with Electro attacks which will create the reaction Electro-Charged to anything caught in the area of effect, including you. Run over to the chest in the middle, and charge your Elemental Skill up, which’ll hit all enemies, this should take them down in no time.

Once they’re defeated, the door to the next room will be unlocked, as will the chest in the middle. Open it up, and head through the now unlocked door. Ride the wind current up to the next floor, and you’ll see another Door of Resurrection, walk up to the door next to it, and the door will open up, head down the stairs. As you get to the edge, you’ll notice another room with water in it with three Hilichurl Shooters, and one Large Hydro Slime. Stand on the middle vent, and charge up your Elemental Skill to take them down. Continue north, through the door, and you’ll have a bit of platforming to do.

Wait for the floating platform to get close to you, then walk onto it, let it carry you across to the next platform, then activate the device. This’ll make all the platforms move around you, to form a bridge leading to a wind current, ride it up to the next moving platform, and land on it, this’ll take you across to the next Door of Resurrection, head up the stairs, and go through the door, into the next room. Here you’ll find an orb of energy which is powering Stormterror, attack it and you’ll be rewarded with a Precious Chest, open it and you’ll get a scene, exit the Domain, and Paimon will talk to you for a bit before the quest ends.
