This is a walkthrough for Raiden Shogun Story Quest Radiant Sakura which is the final quest in the second act of the Imperatrix Umbrosa Chapter. It’ll navigate you through the necessary steps to defeating the Raiden Shogun.

Description¶

In Makoto’s remnant realm of consciousness, Ei and the Shogun Puppet engage in an endless fight. For Inazuma, and also for Ei herself, you wish to lend a hand - as you once did - to help her get through this sore test.

Steps¶

1. Go to Grand Narumkami Shrine and meet Yae Miko
2. Defeat the Raiden Shogun
3. Talk to Ei and Yae Miko

Go to Grand Narumkami Shrine and meet Yae Miko¶

Unfortunately, you and Paimon cannot figure a way back into the Secret Realm, so make your way up to the Grand Narumkami Shrine and speak with Yae Miko. Return to the cave and Yae Miko will work her magic to get you back into the Secret Realm.

Defeat the Raiden Shogun¶

Once you arrive in the Secret Realm you’ll take control of Ei and another duel against the Raiden Shogun will take place. Here you’ll notice she now has a large arm/sword which means her attacks are much wider, so make sure you keep your distance. Unlike the previous encounters with the Raiden Shogun in Farewell to the Past and The Omnipresent God she has a lot of different to her disposal:

Line AoE (Area of Effect)¶

Throughout the fight she’ll raise her sword into the sky and a purple AoE will extend out in front of her, so make sure you’re to the side of her to avoid it. After she has hit the ground with her sword, run in and attack her a few times before retreating.

Spinning Slash¶

The Raiden Shogun will aim her sword diagonal and perform a 360, so make sure you’re not too close, as you’ll get hit by the lingering electro that follows.

Flowers of Remembrance¶

Eventually the Raiden Shogun will disappear and leave a purple orb on the ground which you’ll want to quickly attack to summon a shield before she swipes her sword across the battlefield.

Electro Pillars¶

You’ll notice she’ll be holding a black hole which will spawn in four pillars. These will be spreading rings of electro across the battlefield, so make sure you jump over them to avoid taking damage.

Vertical Slash¶

The Raiden Shogun will slide her sword along the ground which will unleash five vertical lines of Electro, so standing in-between to avoid it.

Electro Uppercut¶

You’ll notice a shadow on the ground following you, so keep dodging away from it as it’ll eventually stop and a fist will come out.

Talk to Ei and Yae Miko¶

After finally defeating the Raiden Shogun you’ll see one more scene before the second Act of the Raiden Shogun’s story will come to a close.
