This page offers a guide on all two-handed swords in Breath of the Wild. The tables will provide weapon stats and some weapon locations will also be offered for each sword.

Biggoron’s Sword (via amiibo)

This is an amiibo exclusive weapon that’s based on the sword from Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. The weapon can be obtained by using the amiibo Rune with the Link amiibo of The Legend of Zelda: 30th Anniversary series.

Edge of Duality

This weapon is found fairly frequently once you’ve reached a later stage in the game. It can be looted from a Moblin in Princess Zelda’s Room in Hyrule Castle, but can also be found in chests in Kaam Ya’tak Shrine and Lakna Rokee Shrine.

Eightfold Longblade

The Eightfold Longblade is a two-handed version of the Eightfold Blade. It can be found around Kakariko Village and are sometimes wielded by enemies in the Lanayru region.

Fierce Deity Sword (via amiibo)

This is an amiibo exclusive weapon that’s based on the sword from Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask. The weapon can be obtained by using the amiibo Rune with the Majora’s Mask Link Amiibo.

Golden Claymore

The Golden Claymore is a Gerudo weapon, so it’s found most commonly in the Gerudo highlands. Sometimes stronger weapons will be found wielding the Golden Claymore, but it can also be looted from a chest found in Joloo Nah Shrine.

Great Flameblade

The Great Flameblade is a fire elemental weapon found in treasure chests in the following shrines:

The weapon can be used like a regular two-handed weapon but it also does additional burn damage and can also make fires and roast food! It can burn spikey vines and dried leaves, melt ice and light campfires.

Great Frostblade

The Great Frostblade is an elemental weapon that does frost damage. The weapon can be found in treasure chests in the following shrines:

It can be used to temporarily freeze enemies, leaving them incapacitated for a few seconds. It also offers some heat resistance when equipped!

Great Thunderblade

This is an elemental weapon which does extra lightning/shock damage. The weapon can be found in treasure chests in the following shrines:

Enemies inflicted with shock damage will be stunned and drop any metal weapons they may have equipped.

Knight’s Claymore

The Knight’s Claymore is the two-handed version of the knight’s broadsword. A Knight’s Claymore can be found nearby Tabantha Tower and one on Hebra Peak. They can also be found around Gerudo Desert and are occasionally used by Moblin enemies.

Royal Claymore

This strong weapon is a two-handed version of the Royal Broadsword. It is a late game weapon and only really begins to appear in game when you’ve become a higher level. It’s found around Tabantha Frontier and Gerudo Desert, but can also be looted To Quomo Shrine and Kah Yah Shrine. Bear in mind, that treasure in shrines sometimes scales alongside Link, so you won’t be able to get a Royal Claymore from these shrines if you’re low-levelled.

Royal Guard’s Claymore

This super strong weapon is a two-handed version of the Royal Guard’s Sword. Although it has high damage it is also extremely fragile and breaks after only 15 hits. Save it for big fights! You can find one on the western side of Hyrule Castle.

Rusty Claymore

The Rusty Claymore is early game weapon that’s found fairly commonly around Hyrule Field, particularly near ruined buildings and water. They’re super fragile so they aren’t a great weapon. However, Rock Octoroks will suck up Rusty weapons when they’re placed in front of them, spitting back out a new, shiny version!

There’s a 50% chance for a Traveler’s Claymore, 35% chance for a Soldier’s Claymore, a 10% chance for a Knight’s Claymore, and a 5% chance for a Royal Claymore.

Silver Longsword

The Silver Longsword is a Zora weapon so it’s found most commonly around the Lanayru Region. You can even find one in Zora’s Domain, behind Ne’ez Yohman Shrine.

Soldier’s Claymore

The Soldier’s Claymore is a pretty common weapon, especially in early game. You’ll find a lot of enemies wielding the Soldier’s Claymore, particularly on Hyrule Field and in the Faron Grasslands. You can also loot one from a chest in Bosh Kala Shrine.

Traveler’s Claymore

This weapon is available in abundance across Hyrule Field and West Necluda, especially in the early game. It may also be one of your first ever weapons in the game, given that you can get one from the Great Plateau Shrine, Ja Baij.

Windcleaver

The Windcleaver is a Yiga Clan weapon and is often wielded by the higher-levelled Yiga Clan Blademasters who’ll pop up randomly when you’re exploring the wild.
