Ancient Battle Axe

Unlike the Ancient Short Sword and the Ancient Bow, the Ancient Battle Axe is actually a part of the Guardian weapon range, and is only obtainable from Guardian enemies in shrines and not through forging it at Akkala Ancient Tech Lab. You can defeat the Guardian Enemy at Dah Hesho Shrine for an Ancient Battle Axe.

Ancient Battle Axe+

The Ancient Battle Axe+ is a stronger version of the Ancient Battle Axe and is also obtainable from Guardian enemies found in shrines. You can get the upgraded battle axe by completing Modest Tests of Strength shrines such as Mijah Rokee Shrine, as the stronger Guardian enemies will sometimes wield this weapon.

Ancient Battle Axe++

The Ancient Battle Axe++ is the strongest iteration of this guardian weapon. It is wielded by the high-levelled Guardian enemies found in Major Tests of Strength, such as Hia Miu Shrine.

Ancient Bladesaw

Unlike the Ancient Battle Axe, the Ancient Bladesaw is not obtainable from Guardian enemies and is instead forged at Akkala Ancient Tech Lab. To forge it, you’ll need 1,000 Rupees, 15 Ancient Screws, 5 Ancient Shafts and 2 Ancient Cores.

Woodcutter’s Axe

The Woodcutter’s Axe is a weak weapon, but, as the name suggests, it is great at chopping trees! It cuts down trees more efficiently than other weapons and has a pretty high durability despite its base damage, meaning you can use it to chop down entire forests if you’re desperate for wood, branches and/or Korok Leaves. The Woodcutter’s Axe can be found fairly commonly across Hyrule, especially on the Great Plateau. They’re found very often near random huts in the wild or by stables.

Double Axe

The Double Axe is essentially a stronger version of the Woodcutter’s Axe! It has the same ability to cut down trees more efficiently but is also more durable and has a higher attack damage, meaning it could also be used in melee combat if needed!
