Difficulty Monsters
★★★★★★★★★★ White-Maned Lynel x1, Bokoblin (horseback) x8, Guardian Turret x1

This is it. The final floor with enemies. From the onset, you’ll be confronted by a White-Maned Lynel alongside a squadron of Bokoblin rdiers. The area itself is mostly wide open space, with some ruins and a tower near a far corner.

Strategy

We sincerely hope you conserved some Ancient Arrows. You only need one, but it’d be helpful to have 2 or 3 in case you mess up. When you arrive, there will be a Lynel and 8 Bokoblin riders a fair distance ahead. The Lynel and most of the Bokoblin will instantly notice you. There are at least two ways to handle this sticky situation.

(1 of 4) Glide up using the updrafts and then quickly shoot an Ancient Arrow at the Lynel before its arrows hit you.

One, if you’re the gung-ho type, cast the Meteor Rod forward to set the tall grass alight. Then glide up using the updraft. Quickly pull your bow out to trigger bullet-time and shoot the Lynel with an Ancient Arrow before it shoots you. If you have time, you can also shoot Bomb Arrows at any nearby Bokoblins.

Two, if you’re the reserved type, turn right and run towards the trees. Climb up the thick tree and glide towards the Lynel. While in mid-air, shoot the Lynel with an Ancient Arrow. As you climb the tree, there’s a good chance the Guardian Turret may begin aiming at you; if so, try to move to the side away from the Turret.

(1 of 2) Run towards the tower where the Guardian Turret is.

After evaporating the Lynel, dash towards the tall tower where the Guardian Turret is. Unlike the previous floor, there’s nowhere to hide without getting close to the Bokoblin riders. So do your best to out-run the laser, moving in a zig-zag if necessary. When you’re near the base of the tower, you’ll be safe from the Turret.

Clamber up the tower, away from the Bokoblin riders near the center of the floor. Once you’re at the top, defeating the Turret should be a straightforward affair. If you need a reminder, shoot its eye to stun it and/or freeze it with Stasis to buy yourself time. Otherwise if you have spare Ancient Arrow(s), shoot one at its eye.

(1 of 2) Rain down Bomb Arrows on the Bokoblin riders.

Finally, it’s time to finish off the Bokoblin riders. If you saved up some Bomb Arrows, now’s the time to unleash them. Fire any Bomb Arrows you have from atop the tower, prioritizing any riders that are clumped together. Once you’re out of Bomb Arrows, you can also snipe them with regular arrows.

If there are any Bokoblins still alive, glide down the tower towards the ruined building nearby. Open the chest there for an addition 5 Bomb Arrows. Shoot these at the Bokoblins from your current position, either through the windows of the building or by climbing up the wall, etc. All the riders are melee so you’ll be safe here.

(1 of 2) It’s a bit anti-climatic, but if you can reach the top of the tower, you can snipe the Lynel safe from attacks.

It’s a bit anti-climatic, but if you can reach the top of the tower, you can snipe the Lynel safe from attacks. (left), For this, you’ll likely need LOTS of arrows. (right)

By the way, if you don’t have any Ancient Arrows upon entering this floor, turn right at the beginning and run towards the trees. Next, run towards the tower with the Turret, then climb up the tower away from the Lynel. If you’re lucky, you should be able to avoid the arrows fired by the Lynel and reach the top.

After disposing of the Guardian Turret, you can try sniping the Lynel from atop the tower. If the Lynel lost sight of you earlier, it shouldn’t spot you again while you’re up here. All that’s left is to patiently shoot the Lynel in the head over and over again. Of course, you’ll need lots of arrows–we did advise you to gather as many as you could!

Sometimes, if you’re unlucky, the Lynel may shoot homing arrows while you’re atop the tower. These are the type that rain down from the sky. There’s not much you can do except crawl around, hoping the Lynel will lose sight of you or get bored. Of course, remember to eat meals to replenish your HP.
