This shrine is found north of Fort Hateno (left), and is only accessible once you’ve completed The Cursed Statue. (right)

How to Complete The Cursed Statue

This Shrine Quest can be kicked off by speaking with the NPC Calip. His cabin is located right behind the Hateno fort which is northwest of Hateno Tower. If he isn’t there, he is in the site of the Shrine Quest itself. From there you’ll need to follow him along a path to the cursed statues.

You’ll then need to wait around till night to find the statue with the glowing eyes and destroy it. For a full guide on how to complete this shrine quest, head over to our guide on The Cursed Statue.

When you’ve completed the shrine quest, the shrine will rise from the ground behind the statues.

When you’ve destroyed the cursed statue you’ll be able to access the shrine!

How to Complete Kam Urog: Trial of Passage

This shrine can be quite tricky because you need to have good timing and if you fall off, you’ll have to begin again, which is not fun!

When you enter into the giant cylinder, you’ll notice that the whole thing is turning constantly, including the structure at the center and a few spike balls flying about just to annoy you some more!

You’ll first need to wait for the large platform to move around and become flat enough for you to stand on and walk up so that you reach the large cog. This cog offers some reprieve from the never-ending spinning and you can use this time to wait and plan your next moves. In fact, if you wait a short while a small platform with a treasure chest will spin and line up with the cog and you can jump down onto it. You can loot it for a Royal Halberd with Attack Up +8! Unfortunately if you do head for this chest you will have to restart the puzzle from the bottom of the spinning cylinder again.

Reach the cog at the center for a quick break from all the spinning!

When you reach the cog at the center again you’ll either want to move quickly over to the platform to the left before it gets too high to reach or you can stand on the cog and wait for it to come back around. From there you’ll need to hop onto the spinning cog on the wall and then wait on it before jumping up onto the platform ahead.

Then, you can climb up the steps and wait for the second set of steps to come around. You’ll need to go across it quickly to reach the end of the shrine and claim your Spirit Orb!
