How to Complete Keo Ruug: Fateful Stars.

This shrine can look a bit complicated at first, but the solution is super simple. Either side of the shrine, as you walk in, you’ll notice rows of holes and lanterns either side of them. Then, on the wall in front, there are constellation patterns. The slab up ahead says,

Look to the stars for guidance. The constellations are the key.

Then on the very far back wall of the shrine, there are a bunch of constellations that correspond to the ones near the holes. Your goal is to count how many of each specific constellation there is, and then place a ball into the right hole. The holes are numbered 1 through 5 and this is shown by the number of lanterns on the side walls. Below you’ll find the exact number of each constellation, which corresponds then to a specific hole.

  • Far left constellation: 5 constellations (hole #5)

  • Center left constellation: 3 constellations (hole #3)

  • Center right constellation: 1 constellation (hole #1)

  • Far right constellation: 2 constellations (hole #2)

Once you’ve placed the balls in the right holes, the door will open and you can head to the end of the shrine. If you fancy sticking around and grabbing some treasure then keep on reading!

How to get the Keo Ruug Shrine Treasure Chest

To the right of the newly opened gate, you’ll find a second locked gate. Above said gate is another cluster of constellations - the same constellations as above the holes in the other room. Below you’ll find the exact number of each constellation, which corresponds then to a specific hole.

  • Far left constellation: 4 constellations (hole #4)

  • Center left constellation: 2 constellations (hole #2)

  • Center right constellation: 2 constellation (hole #2)

  • Far right constellation: 1 constellations (hole #1)

Switching up the balls and putting them in their new places will open the gate to the treasure and you can loot the chest for a Royal Claymore with Durability Up +.

(1 of 2) Memorise the new constellation numbers

Memorise the new constellation numbers (left), so you can grab a Royal Claymore. (right)
