This prized meat can be obtained from certain birds. It gets full points for flavor, nutrition, and volume. It pairs perfectly with other ingredients or can be enjoyed alone.

Where to Find¶
Raw Whole Bird is a rare-ish drop from Eldin Ostrich and White Pigeons.

Except for filling in your recipe book, in most situations, you’re better off farming Raw Gourmet Meat. This can be used in similar dishes, provides the same health recovery as a Raw Whole Bird and is far easier to farm.

If you really want Raw Whole Bird, you’ll have better luck hunting Eldin Ostriches in the Eldin region. There’s a group of three who always spawn a short distance east-south-east from Eldin Tower. Beware of a Guardian Stalker to the north.
You can save your game nearby, kill an Ostrich or three, then reload if you don’t get the drops you want.

As for White Pigeons, they’re native to the Hebra Mountains and the Gerudo Highlands. Of note, there’s a decent amount in the area around Snowfield Stable.
However, these birds are much smaller and camouflage into the snow. Also, they will cease to spawn when it’s heavily snowing (which is a common occurrence). Not really worth the hassle, honestly.
