This page will offer a walkthrough on the DLC side quest EX Treasure: Fairy Clothes. This set of three hidden treasures is a part of the first DLC, which is available by purchasing the Expansion Pass for Breath of the Wild.
How to Start EX Treasure: Fairy Clothes¶
To begin this quest, you’ll need to find clues to the whereabouts of the treasure chest. The clues are given to you by Misko’s Journal, found in Outpost Ruins, near the Forest of Time. Then, you’ll find the journal with the clues within the ruins, near a broken wall. The journal will give clues to this treasure as well as the following:

EX Treasure: Fairy Clothes Locations¶
Once you’ve found the journal, you’ll receive the clue “Find these pieces at the ruins where trade flourished…at the ruins where sinners were imprisoned…and at the village ruins next to farmland where many people once gathered”. Each piece is found at the separate locations listed above.
Tingle’s Hood Location¶
Tingle’s Hood is found at Exchange Ruins, south of Windvane Meadow in Hyrule Fields. You’ll find the armor in a chest that’s half buried in the ground in a pile of rubble. You can use Magnesis to pull the chest out to obtain the fairy headgear, Tingle’s Hood.

Tingle’s Shirt Location¶
Tingle’s Shirt is found at Castle Town Prison, which is found on a small island west of Hyrule Castle. The chest is found in the Prison ruins right next to where a Guardian is patrolling. If you study his movements, you can sneak and hide behind pillars and wooden planks until you’re close enough to the chest to pull it out when the Guardian is looking the other direction. Alternatively, you could just take out the Guardian before going for the chest.

Tingle’s Tights¶
The final piece of Fairy clothing is found at Mabe Village Ruins, just east of Central Tower. The chest is found hidden beneath a rusted Guardian, but you can use Magnesis to pull the chest out to obtain the tights.
The full Tingle’s Armor set will offer you increased movement speed at night.
