Rin Oyaa Shrine

By
Seren Morgan-Roberts

A guide on how to complete Rin Oyaa Shrine, found west of Snowfield Stable in the Hebra region

(1 of 2) Rin Oyaa Shrine is found near Snowfield Stable

Rin Oyaa Shrine is found near Snowfield Stable (left), and the aim of the shrine is to use the wind streams to roll the ball into the hole! (right)

How to complete Rin Oyaa: Directing the Wind

This shrine is all about using the wind streams to get the ball into the hole at the center of the room. You need to use this technique because when the ball lands in the hole, you need to be standing on the grey platform near the ramp when its raised so you can get to the end of the shrine.

First things first, you need to make a proper path of wind that takes the ball from the ramp all the way to the hole. To do this, you’ll need to use magnesis to place the metal cubes covering the two fans found at the center of the room (on the walls of the hole). When you do this, you create an uninterrupted stream of wind all around the room. Role the ball down the ramp and watch as it goes past the first metal cube. When it’s passed, quickly use magnesis to pick up the cube and place it on the ledge on the upper right hand side of the ramp nearby - you’ll need it for some treasure!

(1 of 2) Use the metal crates to block off certain wind streams

Use the metal crates to block off certain wind streams (left), and once the ball is in the hole you’ll be able to head to the end of the shrine. (right)

Remember to make sure you’re on the grey platform when the ball is about to reach the hole, as you’ll have to restart if you miss it being raised. Once on the upper section of the shrine, you can finish up and claim your Spirit Orb, or if you managed to get the metal cube, you can head to the left and paraglide over to the treasure chest, where you’ll find an Ancient Core.
