This is the first of three rest floors. You know the drill: use this opportunity to grab supplies and cook useful meals for the upcoming floors.
Strategy¶
To start with, slowly approach the Fairy by the side of the exit and grab it. Keep this in your inventory (don’t cook it!) and it’ll revive you once when you run out of hearts. Seeing as there’ll be plenty of tough opponents ahead, you’ll want any safety nets you can muster!

Next, open the chests on the right side to discover 3 Ancient Arrows, a Knight’s Bow and Flamebreaker Boots. Afterwards, break the wooden crates behind the chests for various arrows and food items. Then grab the axe by the tree, before looting the left side for mushrooms and fish.

The last thing to do is cook some meals for the trials ahead. Cook the two Hearty Truffles separately by themselves so you get two meals that maximize your health. Then focus on cooking meat. Unless you’ve gathered 4 ingredients that buff Attack, save the Razorshrooms for later. Similarly, save the Armored Carp unless you’ve got a 4th Defense-buffing ingredient.
