Difficulty Monsters
★★★★★☆☆☆☆☆ Electric Keese x2, Stalizalfos x3

This stormy floor has several trees scattered around and a seemingly empty skull camp near the back.

Strategy

To begin with, focus on dealing with the two Electric Keese towards the right. Actually, these electrified bats can be really annoying–and potentially deadly–if you allow them to get close. Due to the constant rain, the Keese can electrocute you from a sizable distance–and can even stun-lock you.

(1 of 2) Don’t get close to the Keese or you can get stun-locked. We found out the hard way…

Don’t get close to the Keese or you can get stun-locked. We found out the hard way… (left), No bow? No problem: use bombs. (right)

Hopefully you grabbed the bow from the previous floor. Carefully approach the Keese, then shoot them before they get too close to you. If you’re not confident about aiming, wait until the Keese notice you and begin diving towards you. Then aim while moving backwards. Alternatively, throw bombs at them.

If you survived that, the rest is trivial. Approach the entrance to the skull camp and roll a bomb towards the center or throw a square bomb there, without getting too close. Make sure the bomb is near the bomb barrels slightly to the left. Now walk inside the camp to trigger the Stalizalfos to emerge from the ground.

(1 of 2) Place a bomb near the bomb barrels, then run in the camp to awaken the Lizalfos.

Place a bomb near the bomb barrels, then run in the camp to awaken the Lizalfos. (left), Then leg it outside the camp, before detonating the bomb. (right)

As soon as they appear, leg it and detonate your bomb when you’re far away enough. The explosion will cause the bomb barrels to explode, hopefully resulting in three headless skeletal lizards. Before they realize what’s up, run back inside the camp and poke their heads with a Boko Spear or something.

That’s the quickest way, but there’s a small downside: the food in the boxes will become roasted due to the heat. If you want to gather as much raw food as possible, you can opt to fight the Stalizalfos outside the camp. They can be dispatched similarly to Stalkoblins, by using bombs or a long weapon, but they’re more cunning and agile.

By the way, one of the Stalizalfos is holding a metal shield, which attracts lightning. This can be a good or bad thing. It’s convenient for you if the Lizalfos gets struck by lightning, but it’s bad for your health if you’re close by when that happens.

(1 of 2) Towards the left of the skull camp, there’s a chest you can uncover with Magnesis.

Towards the left of the skull camp, there’s a chest you can uncover with Magnesis. (left), Inside is a Royal Guard’s Sword. It’s metal, so keep it safe for now. (right)

When it’s safe, leave the camp and go over to the left side. Towards the left of the nearby tree, there’s a treasure chest that’s half-buried in the ground. Use Magnesis to pull it out and obtain the Royal Guard’s Sword that’s inside.
