★★★★★★☆☆☆☆ | Meteo Wizzrobe x1, Black Bokoblin x1, Blue Bokoblin x2 |
Oh joy, more fumbling around in the dark. This time, you’re in a mini ruined village. Near the entrance, there’s a ruined wall on the left and a ruined building on the right. Across the wall, there’s a Meteo Wizzrobe dancing around. Meanwhile, the top-right corner of the room has a Bokoblin camp.
Strategy¶
The enemies here are all fairly formidable–and more so when you’re fighting them with next to visibility. Also, the layout of the floor isn’t that complex, but there are more walls you can get stuck behind.
Firstly, we recommend defeating the Meteo Wizzrobe. For this, you really want to use the Ice Arrows obtained from Floor 3. One hit from an Ice Arrow will one-shot the Wizzrobe. Otherwise, you’ll probably struggle to fight it normally in the dark.
What you can do is slowly climb the wall on the left. Due to the lack of light, it can be hard to see the top–just keep slowly climbing until your stamina wheel disappears, meaning you’ve finished climbing. Up there, you’ll have the best vantage point to shoot the Wizzrobe. If necessary, you could also glide off and shoot the Wizzrobe in mid-air, with the bullet-time effect.
Once the Wizzrobe is gone, pick up its Meteor Rod. Assuming the Bokoblin haven’t noticed you, double back to the entrance. Then climb the building on the right, via the wall facing the entrance (opposite the Bokoblin camp). Keep to the far left of this wall to reach the top. Once there, don’t go forward too much, unless you have to.
Look ahead and try your best to identify the Bokoblin camp. It’ll be somewhere directly ahead from the center of the building. Once you see the campfire, ready your bow. Look for the shadows of the Bokoblins dancing around, as well as their small, glowing red eyes. Then rain arrows on them. If you have spare Bomb or Fire Arrows, now’s a good time to use them.
If the Bokoblin notice you, you can opt to fight them on the ground. However, since you’re dealing with a Black Bokoblin, be extremely cautious. You might as well spam the Meteor Rod, since there’s no better time to use it. To prevent the fireballs from having to recharge, unequip the Meteor Rod after every two casts, then re-equip it.
After eliminating all the enemies, raid the Bokoblin camp for supplies. Also, be sure to grab the weapons they dropped, especially the Dragonbone Boko Club and Bat. These powerful weapons will help you defeat the upcoming bosses without breaking too much of a sweat.
