Saas Ko’sah Shrine is a Major Test of Strength shrine found in the grounds of Hyrule Castle.
Locating Saas Ko’sah Shrine¶
This Shrine is found in Hyrule Docks, located beneath the Castle grounds. Saas Ko’sah Shrine is the best fast travel point for whenever you want to go to Hyrule Castle, so it is a very useful Shrine to have available.
Head for this entrance, which you can get to via the moat north of the castle.
You can get to the docks via an entrance on the north side of the castle. You can either reach it via swimming or gliding across the moat to the cave entrance, or you can just hop down from the main path if you’re already in the castle grounds.
You’ll need to head into the dock through the cave entrance then take out the Lizalfos enemies before going up the stone stairs towards a balcony with an unlit brazier. Using a fire weapon or a torch, light the brazier. You could also light the brazier by setting fire to an arrow from the nearby torches if you need. Once the brazier is lit, the shrine will rise from the ground.

A Major Test of Strength¶
Major Tests of Strength can definitely be tricky fights for the less experienced player, and are probably something you’ll want to avoid until you have better armor and weapons and a few more heart containers under your belt!
This Guardian enemy wields a Guardian Spear++ and two Guardian Swords++! For this fight and the other major tests of strength, you’ll definitely want to utilise the perfect guard, sidehop and backflip abilities to avoid incoming attacks, since the Guardian can hit quite hard! Perfectly timed abilities also have the chance of triggering a flurry attack that’s great for dealing extra damage to the enemy.

Watch out for the Guardian’s ranged attacks, including explosive lasers that are triggered when you’ve almost defeated it. The way to deal with the final explosive lasers is to run up to it before he’s finished charging his attack and try to defeat it before it starts shooting.
