This floor is a 2 x 2 grid, divided by four large, square obstructions near each corner. Akin to, say, Mario Kart 64’s Block Fort battle course, but restricted to the ground floor.

Strategy

To begin we, we recommend running left to encounter the first Guardian Scout II. Apply Stasis on the scout, then keep whacking it with a hefty weapon. Unlike living creatures, Stasis lasts a long time on the robotic scouts, giving you plenty of time to deal heavy damage.

(1 of 2) Stasis lasts shorter on living creatures, but scouts aren’t alive.

Stasis lasts shorter on living creatures, but scouts aren’t alive. (left), So you get lots of time to lay in the punishment! (right)

After destroying the scout, hopefully the other scouts haven’t noticed you. Wait for Stasis to recharge, then slowly head towards the center of the room to lure the next scout. Use the same Stasis strategy to turn it into scrap metal. Then go around to the other side and demolish the final scout in the same way.

Sometimes, you may get chased by multiple scouts. Despite their persistence, don’t panic, because they’re very systematic foes. Just keep your distance and apply Stasis on one of the scouts, then try to position yourself so the Stasis’d scout is between you and the other scout(s). You can also stun the scouts with Shock Arrows or the Thunderstorm Rod.

(1 of 2) Unless you know about this metal block, it’s very easy to miss it!

Unless you know about this metal block, it’s very easy to miss it! (left), Behind the block is a chest with a Duplex Bow. (right)

When it’s safe, if you’re interested, there’s a hidden chest within the tallest of the square obstructions. Use the Magnesis rune and walk towards one of the two outward-facing walls. Towards the center of one of the walls, there’s a sneaky metallic block you can pull away, revealing a chest with a Duplex Bow.
