Chickaloo Tree Nut

By
Vincent Lau

You can find these nuts left behind by sparrows.

Small birds love this nut. You can eat it raw for a minor effect, but it can also be added as a spice to other recipes.

Raw Effect:

  • Recovery: 0.25 heart

Recipe Effect:

  • Duration: +40 seconds (first), +30 seconds (thereafter)
  • Recovery: +1 heart (first), +0.5 heart (thereafter)

Where to Find

There are two places where you can directly obtain Chickaloo Tree Nuts. Besides that, you can obtain them by killing any type of sparrow.

(1 of 4) Chickaloo Tree Nut locations at Korok Forest.

First, check between the two nearby trees south-east from the Master Sword pedestal in Korok Forest. Also, search the walkway to the west of the central part of Zora’s Domain. There are three Chickaloo Tree Nuts lying on the ground in both locations, for a total of six.

(1 of 7) Blue Sparrow locations at Zora’s Domain.

If you seek additional Chickaloo Tree Nuts, we suggest hunting Blue Sparrows. You can find five clusters of five in Zora’s Domain, chilling on the walkways. There are also two clusters on the water below, but it’s hard to sneak up on them.

Additionally, there’s a big group of 16 sparrows on Mount Dunsel, north of Lurelin Village. Unlike Zora’s Domain, it’s harder to spot the sparrows since they’re obscured by the tall grass.

(1 of 6) Blue and Golden Sparrow locations at Lanayru Bay.

Still need more tree nuts? If you head to Lanayru Bay, between Mount Lanayru and the East Reservoir Lake, there are a bunch of Blue and Golden Sparrows near the southern beach.

Furthermore, after slaying the Hinox in Rabella Wetlands, east from Mount Floria, around a dozen Common Sparrows will appear where the giant once slept. Of course, it mustn’t be raining.
