From extreme heat to extreme cold… (left), Anyway, blow up the nearby Pebblits along the road. (right)

Difficulty Monsters
★★★★★☆☆☆☆☆ Frost Pebblit x2, Ice Chuchu x1, Blue Bokoblin x2, Black Bokoblin x1

The third quarter of the Final Trials features a drastic change in temperature, throwing you into a frigid environment. Unlike the previous section, the game isn’t generous to give you suitable clothes. However, you should’ve cooked the Spicy Peppers and Sizzlefin Trouts to make cold-protective meals.

Besides that, you can also equip the Flamespear from Floor 5 or the Meteor Rod from Floor 9 to keep you warm. When you enter each floor, we recommend relying on the meals so you can wield other weapons. Then once all the enemies are gone and your meal buff begins to expire, switch over to the fire weapons to explore.

Anyway, this particular floor begins with a pathway between two gentle hills. At the end of the path is a make-shift Bokoblin camp.

Strategy

(1 of 2) Turn right and melt this ice block.

Turn right and melt this ice block. (left), Grab the Bomb Arrows from the thawed out chest. (right)

Head forward and defeat the two Frost Pebblits by throwing or rolling bombs. Next, climb up the hill on the right and look for a pointy frozen block near the other side. Shoot it with a Fire Arrow or two to melt it. If you’re patient, use one arrow and then stand near the block with a fire weapon, like the Meteor Rod.

Open the chest that was hidden by the ice to obtain 5 Bomb Arrows. These are great for taking out multiple enemies, such as the ones you’ll be facing next. That said, there’s an easier way to defeat them. Go back to the top of the hill and follow it in the direction away from the entrance.

(1 of 2) Lure the two melee Bokoblin towards the Ice Chuchu to freeze them.

Lure the two melee Bokoblin towards the Ice Chuchu to freeze them. (left), Then freeze the Bokoblin archer with the Frostblade etc. (right)

Stop just before the final peak, at which point you’ll be overlooking a small campsite occupied by three Bokoblins. Towards the left is an Ice Chuchu. Without giving your position, shoot a few arrows between the Chuchu and the two left-most Bokoblin to lure them together. Then shoot the Chuchu to freeze those Bokoblins.

Now glide down and render the third Bokoblin, an archer, motionless somehow. You can freeze it with a spare Ice Arrow, stun it with a normal arrow and then freeze it with the Great Frostblade, etc. Afterwards, finish off the other two frozen Bokoblins. Note that one of them is a stronger Black Bokoblin (the one holding a Tri-Boomerang).

(1 of 2) If you want, heat up the cooking pot.

If you want, heat up the cooking pot. (left), Then feel free to cook any new/leftover ingredients. (right)

When it’s safe, raid the wooden crates for food items.
