Mogg Latan Shrine

By
Seren Morgan-Roberts

A guide on how to complete Mogg Latan Shrine, found on the southern side of Satori Mountain.

(1 of 2) Mogg Latan Shrine is found on Satori Mountain

Mogg Latan Shrine is found on Satori Mountain (left), and is titled ‘Synced Swing’. (right)

How to Complete Mogg Latan: Synced Swing

With this shrine, you’ll need to use magnesis to swing the various metal objects. You’ll first want to use magnesis to swing the metal swing so you can hop onto it and then hop off on the next platform. Then you’ll want to do the same thing on the next swing. This can be a bit tricky cause too much or too little momentum then the swing goes all over the place.

(1 of 2) Use the swings to get across

Use the swings to get across (left), but to make them swing you’ll need to use magnesis. (right)

On the next platform, you’ll need to shoot down the ropes holding up the bridge. Head to the right and loot the chest if you want a Forest Dweller’s Spear. Then go to the left and use magnesis to swing the various spiky metal balls. You’ll want to swing them so you can then slip past them - some are heavier than others so you may need to give them a bit more momentum.

At the end of the path you can move one last spiky ball to loot a chest behind containing a Forest Dweller’s Bow.

Use magnesis to swing the metal balls out of the way.

Next, you’ll need to use magnesis to pull the metal platform and ride it down to a set of four metal platforms. With these platforms you’ll be able to create a set of steps. Behind the metal platform, you’ll be able to grab another treasure chest, but to be able to get to it, you’ll need to move the highest metal platform out of the way so you can jump down and loot the chest for 300 Rupees. You’ll need to make another set of steps for yourself using the platforms to get up and back onto the platform to the final section.

Before you can reach the end of the shrine, you’ll need to burn the leaves going up to a large set of metal doors. You can do this by either lighting the leaves on fire with a flame weapon, or you can hit the orange crystal to trigger some fire lanterns which you can then swing and shoot them down onto the leaves. When the leaves have caught fire and burned the wooden block you’ll be able to use magnesis to swing the metal doors open and claim your Spirit Orb!

(1 of 2) Use flames to set alight the leaves

Use flames to set alight the leaves (left), so that the wooden block is also burned. (right)
