Tabantha/Hebra Floating Platforms

By
Vincent Lau

This page details all the floating platforms found in the Tabantha and Hebra regions when playing Master Mode.

Locations of the floating platforms in the Tabantha and Hebra regions.

Group 1

(1 of 2) Enjoy the view while gliding from Tabantha Tower.

A short distance north-east from Tabantha Tower, there are 2 and a half platforms high above Nero Hill. The nearer platform is occupied by a Bokoblin with Fire Arrows; the further platform has a chest with a Swallow Bow and two wooden crates.

Next to the further platform is a lop-sided platform held by two Sky Octoroks. Not sure what happened there… Anyway, you can glide to these platforms from atop Tabantha Tower. If you glide straight forward, you should reach the further platform, barely.

Group 2

(1 of 2) These platforms are above the waterfall at Hebra Plunge.

These platforms are above the waterfall at Hebra Plunge. (left), The chest next to the Lizalfos has a Feathered Edge. (right)

North-east from Rito Village, there are two and a half platforms near the top of the waterfall spilling into Hebra Plunge. The west platform has a Lizalfos with Shock Arrows and a metal chest with a Feathered Edge, while the east platform has a wooden chest with a Sapphire.

If you have the Zora Armor and enough cold resistance, you could swim up the waterfall and then glide to the platforms. Otherwise, you can glide down from higher ground (via the north). Shooting down the platforms is also viable, if you don’t mind fishing for the chests with Magnesis or Cryonis.

Group 3

(1 of 2) This platform’s floating on the water surface, so you can easily glide to it.

South-east from the previous group, there’s a lone platform near the base of the next waterfall. A Lizalfos wielding Ice Arrows is camped here. Next to it is a wooden chest with a Blizzard Rod inside.

Nearby, to the west, there’s a tall leafless tree that you can climb and then glide down from. The top of the tree is also home to a sneaky Korok.

Group 4

(1 of 2) Is this some kind of staring contest?

Is this some kind of staring contest? (left), Anyway, there’s a Kite Shield stashed inside the chest. (right)

North from Group 3, there’s another lone platform near the top of a waterfall at Hebra Headspring. It’s west from a skull camp. A Bokoblin armed with Ice Arrows, who’s somehow unafraid of the cold, is manning the platform. Next to it is a wooden chest with a Kite Shield.

To reach the platform, you could glide down from higher ground or knock it down with arrows. If you want to one-up the Bokoblin’s tolerance for the cold, you could even swim up the waterfall with the Zora armor and then glide straight to the platform. Since the waterfall is freezing, you’ll rapidly lose hearts regardless of protection.

Group 5

(1 of 2) You might as well glide from atop Hebra Tower.

You might as well glide from atop Hebra Tower. (left), The metal chest contains a Feathered Spear. (right)

North from Hebra Tower, there are two platforms floating high above the snow. The nearer one is guarded by a Bokoblin with Bomb Arrows and has a chest with a Feathered Spear. Meanwhile, the further platform has a chest with a Sapphire.

Unsurprisingly, you can reach the platforms by gliding from atop Hebra Tower. Aim for the nearer platform first; from there, you can glide down to the second platform.
