Hateno Floating Platforms

By
Vincent Lau

This page details all the floating platforms found in the Hateno region when playing Master Mode.

Locations of the floating platforms in the Hateno region.

Group 1

(1 of 2) To reach these platforms, we suggest gliding from atop Hateno Tower.

To reach these platforms, we suggest gliding from atop Hateno Tower. (left), The chest contains a powerful two-handed sword. (right)

The first set of platforms is located east from Hateno Tower, high above the looped road. The nearest platform is guarded by a Moblin archer, while the platform further back has a chest with an Eightfold Longblade.

Due to the sheer height of the platforms, the only feasible way to reach them is by gliding from atop Hateno Tower. You can either glide to the Moblin platform first and then glide to the next platform, or glide straight to the platform with the chest.

Group 2

(1 of 2) If you’re gliding from the top of the waterfall, you can just about reach the higher platform.

Another set of platforms is positioned high above Nirvata Lake, north-east from Hateno Tower. Oddly, there are no enemies; the higher platform has a chest with a Knight’s Shield.

If you have the Zora armor, you can swim up the nearby waterfall, then glide down to the platforms. Alternatively, you can shoot down the higher platform and then fish out the chest using Magnesis.

Group 3

(1 of 2) A trio of platforms await above the source of the Lanayru Promenade waterfall.

The last group of platforms is located above the source of the waterfall spilling out into Lanayru Promenade. It’s due west from the source of Nirvata Lake, on the other side of the Peak of Awakening. Here, you’ll find three Lizalfos archers. The middle platform has a chest with a Royal Broadsword.

If you managed to climb up to the top of the Nirvata Lake waterfall, simply head west from there. You can then glide down to these platforms from higher ground.
