The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild

Hyrule Herb

By
Vincent Lau

The Hyrule Herb is about as common as you can get, but sometimes you can’t be a fussy eater.

This healthy herb grows abundantly in the plains of Hyrule. Cook it before eating to increase the number of hearts it restores.

Raw Effect:

  • Recovery: 1 heart

Recipe Effect:

  • Duration: +30 seconds
  • Recovery: +2 hearts

Where to Find

Hyrule Herb is a very common plant found all across Hyrule, except for extremely hot or cold regions.

If you need many Hyrule Herbs pronto, we suggest trekking up Satori Mountain. Of note, the easternmost ledge, adjacent to the apple orchard, is swimming in herbs.

(1 of 4) Hyrule Herb locations at the Great Plateau.

Other places you can try include the Great Plateau and Hyrule Ridge. Foraging at the plateau should be very leisurely, since it’s the initial area. Meanwhile the ridge is also fairly quiet, but be wary of a Lynel near the south-west corner.
