To start Ex Champion Urbosa’s Song, you’ll first need to have completed the One-Hit Obliterator Trials. For more information on how to start and complete the trials, head over to our guide.
Once you’ve completed the One-hit Obliterator quest you’ll have access to Ex Champion Urbosa’s Song
Find the Wasteland Monument¶
Once you’ve completed the Obliterator Trials, you’ll be tasked with finding the four new mysterious monuments, one of which is found in the Wasteland Region, southeast of Wasteland Tower. Head over to the marker on your map and once you’re close enough you’ll trigger a cut scene where the strange shrine-like monuments will reveal the location of three hidden shrines.
After the cutscene, you can speak to Kass who will reveal that he’s writing a song about the trials that Urbosa overcame. He offers up some clues about the whereabouts of the shrines:
One, fight the brute of the sand
Two, chase rings upon the land
Three, throw the orb underground
After telling you his song, he will suggest heading over to Gerudo Town and speaking to Riju and her guard, Buliara for some extra clues.
Riju will tell you that the orb you search for is in the Yiga Clan Hideout, and Buliara will give you more information about the brute of the sand.
