This quest is very short. Warp back to The Institute and go see Father, who is upstairs in his quarters and on his deathbed. Go ahead and talk to him and answer however you wish. The Institute under your help has gained a Nuclear Reactor and taken out the Railroad and the Brotherhood of Steel, cementing their survival and Father is proud. But now is the time to say your goodbyes.

Afterwards you will get the “Credits” of Fallout 4. Congrats! Of course once they are done rolling, you will take over as the Director of the Institute and be free to pursue and explore the world as you see fit.

It’s just another day. Having just been accepted into Vault 111, you spend the morning with your family going about your daily routine. That is until alarms blare out, signalling a nuclear attack.
