Assassin's Creed: Valhalla

Arrive Unexpected

By
Scott Peers
&
Seren Morgan-Roberts

This quest begins immediately after Reaver of the South. As part of the plan for the attack on Portcestre, Stowe has agreed to help Eivor attack an important Saxon camp.

The camp you’re looking for is in the southwest of Suthsexe, south of Guildford. When you reach the camp a cutscene will begin, during which Stowe will suggest attempting to speak with the Saxons before resorting to a fight. You can agree to try this first to appease Stowe, but it won’t matter ultimately. You will still end up fighting the Saxons, but some will be spared death and join Stowe and Erke in Lunden.

The Saxons you’re fighting here consist of soldiers much like those from other camps. You’ll find a few Pikemen, Yeomen, Kinsmen, and a Standard-Bearer. You should know what to expect from these by now, but suffice to say that it’ll be much easier with Stowe and Erke at your side. The main thing to keep in mind is that the Standard-Bearer will sometimes heal their allies, so be sure to interrupt them when you see a white aura around them. As soon as the last hostile Saxon in the camp falls, the quest will end.

(1 of 4) The location of the camp where you’ll find Stowe and Erke.
