Assassin's Creed: Valhalla

What Should You Tell Trygve?

By
Scott Peers

During Under the Skin, you’ll have to decide whether to discourage Trygve from burning himself alive, or tell him that he should do as he must. The choice you make here will have a significant impact on the story, so you should choose carefully.

“Snotinghamscire can’t lose another.”

This will stop Trygve from burning himself alive, and you will now be able to choose between Trygve or Vili as the new jarl during Farewells and Legacies.

“Do as you must, Trygve.”

If you tell Trygve that he should do as he must, he will go ahead with plans to burn himself alive. This means that you won’t be able to choose him as jarl during Farewells and Legacies. It also means that Vili is forced to be the new jarl, making it impossible to recruit him to your longship crew.
