Repair the Animus Anomaly¶
This anomaly is located east of Edmund’s Hope. When you interact with it, a glitchy parkour course will reveal itself, and you’ll need to make your way along it to reach the top so you can repair the loose data package that’s creating the anomaly.
First off, you’ll need to climb up the side of the tower in the middle of the lake. Then, jump up onto the block to your left. From there, make your way along the parkour that circles the top of the turret. Some of the blocks will move up and down and forwards and backwards, you’ll need to make sure to time your jumps so you don’t fall off the parkour circuit.
The course goes up and around the top of the tower at the center of Needham Lake.
After a while, you’ll come to your first unstable structure. This one already has a beam of light shining on it so you’ll be able to traverse across it. When you’ve crossed it, jump down onto the lower platforms to reach the light beam. Then, redirect the light towards the cylinder block at the center of the course. You can then jump across to the circling platforms then jump up to the top of the cylinder. From there you can continue to make your way through the parkour course, until you reach the next unstable structure.
The next unstable structure does have a light beam shining on it, however, the circling blocks above occasionally block the light, making the structure temporarily unstable. You’ll need to make sure you time it perfectly to quickly get across the structure before it disappears.
Once more, you’ll need to follow the course up and around, until you reach a light beam. Redirect the light onto the circular block at the center of the course, then jump down onto the blocks below to get to the stabilized structure. Hop up onto one of the circling blocks then continue to make your way up the course. You’ll need to perform a few vertical wall climbs before you reach the top. When you reach the top, you’ll be able to stabilise the loose data package and complete the mystery.
