This quest begins immediately after What Dreams May Come. Now that you’ve secured the Isu artifact, Eivor asks Kassandra for a drink to celebrate.
Meet Kassandra in Kiltaraglen¶
Challenge Kassandra to a Drinking Contest¶
This quest is mostly a series of cutscenes, but there are a few things you can do in between them. The first is to challenge Kassandra to a drinking contest, which is just like the others that you’ve done previously throughout the game. It doesn’t really matter whether you win or lose; it’s just a bit of fun.
Confront the Jilted Ex-Lover¶
The next thing you can do is confront the jilted ex-lover of the bride. This will lead to a fist fight with them, which you can win easily since your opponent doesn’t inflict much damage. He has some fun moves, though.
How to Win the Flyting Contest with Kassandra¶
The flyting contest with Kassandra isn’t actually much of a contest, it’s more of a way for you to tell the tale of the day. However, there are still choices which you can choose from which the audience will approve of. The “correct” answers are listed below, but you may get some amusing commentary from the guests if you choose something different…
Kassandra: “My day began the strangest way… an axe thrown at my head, intending to slay. There stood Eivor, hot-headed and brash.”
- “To see us now, you’d not believe our clash.”
Kassandra: “It took an ambush or two, and one dusty old temple… for Eivor to see that I could be helpful. But somehow I’ve melted his cold Norse heart…”
- “It’ll sadden me to see my new friend part.”
Kassandra: “Eivor did the heavy lifting, left the tracking job to I. In the end, we triumphed, chasing the nightmares far from Skye. And to the bride and groom, on this historic day…”
- “If your love survives this, nothing stands in your way.”
After the flyting contest, you can pour one last drink. The quest will end after a surprisingly moving scene.
