Assassin's Creed: Valhalla

Tell Dag He Must Join or Do as He Pleases?

By
Scott Peers

Once you’ve pledged to Cent and begun The Abbot’s Gambit, Dag will confront Eivor in the longhouse at Ravensthorpe. He will state that he has no intention of joining you to save Sigurd, and that he will remain in Ravensthorpe. Here you will have two dialogue choices, but both result in the same outcome: Dag won’t be joining you.

“You must join us.”

Eivor reminds Dag that Sigurd’s life is in danger, and asks why he’s not willing to raise his axe to save his jarl. Dag says that Eivor can save him, and walks off.

“Do as you please.”

Eivor states that Dag can do as he pleases, but also that we’ll see what his position among the raiders is when they return. Dag insists that Sigurd will understand his decision. Eivor asks why Dag is not willing to raise his axe to save his jarl. Dag shrugs off the comment and walks away.
