How to Defeat Hogne Sea-Tossed¶
Hogne Sea-Tossed is one of two of Thorgest’s Drengir that you’ll need to defeat to find out the whereabouts of Thorgest’s Shield. For more information on where to get each of the Dublin Champion Armor pieces, head over to How to Get Dublin Champion Armor Set
Hogne is a fast fighter and dual wields a sickle-shaped sword and a dirk. He likes to roll/run away and then charge at you to swipe at you with his weapons. A majority of his attacks are orange and so they can be parried easily. Parrying is great for reducing stamina. Hogne has weak points on each of forearms and also on his right shin. Shooting weak points is also useful for depleting stamina. When his stamina has completely depleted you’ll be able to get in a strong Stun Attack. If you don’t fancy trying to block his fast attacks, dodging them whilst you have the skill Brush with Death equipped is good for getting in some uncontested damage. When you successfully dodge with the skill equipped you’ll trigger a slowed time period where you’ll be able to attack in slow-mo!

Because of how fast and agile Hogne is, not just in his attacks but also in dodging and rolling away from yours, a faster attacking weapon may be beneficial if you’re having trouble with hitting him. Using abilities such as the harpoon or the throwing axes to deal fast damage from far away will also help with slowing down the fight.
Once you’ve depleted all of his health, you’ll need to talk to him then confirm the kill. Make sure to loot his body for the Dublin Champion Breeches.
