Description¶
Cursed areas are plagued by dark magic, but you can cleanse the area if you locate the Cursed Symbol and destroy it. You can do this by shooting it, burning it or hitting it with your melee weapon. There are three cursed areas in Ledecestrescire.
Cursed Area #1¶
This cursed area is found south of Buckingham. You’ll need to shoot the barricade that’s blocking the tunnel beneath the large tree, then destroy cursed symbol within. You’ll need to be quick as there is poisonous gas around, but it’ll clear as soon as you destroy the symbol.

Cursed Area #2¶
This cursed area is located southeast of Evinghou Tower. The cursed symbol is hidden behind a stone wall. If you have it, use the Incendiary Powder Trap to break through the wall. If not, then you’ll need to take the zipline from the island down to the island to the west, where you can find some fire pots. You’ll need to carefully navigate and jump across the planks of wood and ropes to get back to the cursed area. Then, use the fire pot at barricade and destroy cursed symbol.

Cursed Area #3¶
This cursed area is found in Thaerelea Ruins. You’ll need to enter through the crack in the wall. There is a breakable stone wall blocking your way to the cursed symbol. If you have it, use the Incendiary Powder Trap to break through the wall. If not, then you’ll need to clear the poisonous gas clouds to maneuveur through the area with a fire pot - if you don’t get rid of the gas first then your fire pot will explode!
