This mystery can be found in the southeast of Glowecestrescire, near the border with Hamtunscire and Oxenefordscire. When you approach the house, you’ll hear a man named Bron calling for help. It appears that he’s locked himself out of the house.
When you speak with Bron, he’ll ask you to help him force open the door. You’ll gain entry to the house and you can loot a number of baskets for silver. Bron has claimed that he has the Horn of Ragnar inside, but this remains to be proven. He suggests that you move some barricades at the back of the house, where he thinks the horn can be found. When you do, you’ll find a locket instead.
Who Should You Defend: Bron or Home Owner?¶
After picking the locket up, a cutscene will begin, during which a man rushes to the house, calling both Eivor and Bron thieves. It seems Bron is a professional burglar. You must now decide whether to defend Bron, or the home owner. It doesn’t matter much which you choose, since you’ve already looted the house. You’ll need to kill the one you refuse to defend before the mystery will end.
