A Second Chance¶
Oh yeah, baby, this is what we’re talking about! Thanks to the power of you–the player, our heroes from the future are brought back to where it all started. Finally, you can challenge the kaiser and stop his machinations at the very root. Well, what are you waiting for? Let’s give him what for!

Despite all the build up, this battle is fairly straighforward. The kaiser has a single gimmick, but it’s a tough one to stomach. He will start by using Noble Eagle to make everyone deal double damage for 5 turns; he’ll also use it again after it runs out.
With everyone hitting for double damage, it won’t take long to fell the kaiser, but at the same time your party may struggle to stay off the floor. Fortunately, the kaiser only uses single-target physical attacks so you can easily get around this problem.
For one, your can use the Exorcist’s Undo Action (combined with the Astrologian’s Prescience for best results) or the Ninja’s Utsusemi to completely evade each of his attacks. Meanwhile Swordmasters can attempt to tank a hit with Nothing Ventured.
