Description¶
This page offers a guide on grabbing the Shine Sprite in Episode 8 of Sirena Beach. This area is accessed via the pipe on the roof of the house at the Plaza Square once you’ve cleared Episode 4 of Pinna Park and defeated Shadow Mario back in Delfino Plaza.
Collecting the Red Coins¶
It’s a return to the hotel once more for this next episode, there’s eight Red Coins to track down, all scattered within the confines of the hotel. As soon as you enter, you’ll spot the large red button in front of you, give it a quick Ground Pound and the Red Coins will materialize.
From the start, you’ll find the 1st Coin directly in front of you, pocket it and then head to bathroom found to the right of the stairs leading up, the 2nd Coin is at the back of the room. Leave this bathroom and head into the one opposite to jump under the leaking ceiling and reach the room above. You’ll find a picture here, spray it to reveal a Boo and pass through to find the 3rd Coin by the table.
Return to the previous room and make your way over to the bed, bouncing on it to reach the next floor up and the 4th Coin. Leave this room via the nearby door and you’ll stumble upon the 5th Coin then make your way to the room to the top left of this area (next to a vase) and enter to use the bed and bounce up to the attic.
Follow the path here to the top left where you’ll spot two rows of three Coins, look carefully for a cracked floor tile and Ground Pound it to reach the floor below. Look on the wall of this room to spot a Boo poster and spray it, climbing through to the next room where you can snag the 6th Coin. Return to the room with the Boo poster and look for another cracked floor tile to Ground Pound, taking you down to the room with the crates and the 7th Coin.
Finally, leave this room via the door and you’ll spot the 8th and final Coin just begging to be picked up. Pocket it and then head to the ground floor to claim the Shine.
