This page offers a walkthrough of the Episode 2 in Gelato Beach.
Defeat the Plungelos¶
There are three mirrors that are currently occupied by pesky Plungelos. The mirrors need to be restored so that the Wiggler leaves the top of the tower. The first mirror has one plungelo, then the second has two, and the third has three. Your task is to fling the Plungelos off the mirrors. Firstly, climb up any of the trees surrounding the first mirror. You can then jump from the tree onto the mirror.
To fling the Plungelo off, you’ll need to spray water at it until it’s pushed all the way too the edge and is partially falling off. Then, run over to the otherside of the mirror and ground pound the opposite edge to the Plungelo. This will cause it to fling off straight off the mirror.

You will need to repeat this process on the other two mirrors, except there is more than one Plungelo on the other mirrors. To get to the other mirrors, you’ll need to wall jump off the side of the center turret and then use your hover function to give yourself a small boost up to one of the two mirrors. You’ll need to deal with the multiple Plungelos one at a time. Just repeat the process of spraying the Plungelo to the edge and ground pounding the opposite edge until you’ve gotten rid of all the Plungelos on the two mirrors that flank the center tower. When you’ve cleared all mirrors, the Wiggler will disappear off the top of the tower and a Shine Sprite will spawn that you can collect from the beach to complete this level.
When you’ve gotten rid of all 6 of the plungelos, you’ll be able to grab a Shine from the beach!
