Description¶
This page offers information on the level Purple Coins in the Bone Pen in Ghostly Galaxy. This level is only available whilst a Purple Comet is in orbit of the galaxy, and this will only occur once you’ve completed The Fate of the Universe.
Collect 100 Purple Coins¶
In this level, you’ll have only one minute to grab 100 coins. Fortunately, there are 150 coins available so you don’t need to grab every single one. As this is a mad dash for coins, a detailed guide won’t really be of use. Instead, here are a couple of tips to consider whilst doing this level:

Grab the Extra Life Mushroom - As you’re likely going to be going at this level with a lot of haste, you’re quite likely to bang into a few of the space mines floating around. If you grab the extra life mushroom in the center, you won’t have to worry about dying to mines if you bump into them.

Space Mines aren’t the end of the world - If you hit a space mine, fear not! If you’re fast and grab a Pull Star in time, you won’t need to start all the way at the beginning. Crashing into a space mine isn’t as catastrophic as you might think!
Use the Pull Stars to make your way through the pen.

Don’t waste time between the meat obstacles - The coins right between the meaty obstacles are tempting but if you’re not perfectly lined up, you’ll just waste time bumping awkwardly through the meaty obstacles. You’re better off just avoiding these as you’re more likely to waste time between them.

Finish near the center - When you grab 100 coins, you’ll want to be near the center of the pen as this is where the Star will spawn. You’ll probably only have a few seconds left on the clock to grab the Star so you want to be as close as possible to the center when you finish. It could be useful to leave a few of the coins there until the end so you can grab them and then quickly nab the star!
The star will spawn in the middle so make sure you’re close by when you collect your 100th coin.
