This page offers a guide on Secret of the Village Underside, which is the fifth episode in Pianta Village.
Hatch the Yoshi¶
The first thing you’ll need to do is hatch the Yoshi egg that’s across the bridge. He will ask for a random fruit, but luckily, all fruit grow on the same tree that’s on a hill near the bath from the previous episode. Pick the relevant fruit and take it back to hatch the Yoshi.
You’ll find each of the different fruits growing on this tree near the bath.
Once you’ve got Yoshi, read down across the bridge and jump off the cliff onto the bouncy green toadstool just below. Then, make your way across the toadstools towards the underside of the village. By holding down A/B when riding Yoshi, you’ll be able to fly for a short while in order to make long jumps between the toadstools.
When you reach the end of the toadstool path you should be able to spot a orange pile of goo on a pipe up ahead. Press X to use Yoshi’s juice to clear the goo and then you can head down into the secret section of this episode.

Chucksters¶
In the secret area, you’ll need to rely on the Chuckster Piantas to throw you across the platforms to reach the end. Different Chucksters will throw you at different strengths, so you’ll need to be careful with being launched too far or too little. The small pink pianta on the second platform will launch you over the gap to the next section. Then, you’ll want to talk to the small orange pianta, but you’ll also need to wait until he’s near the edge of the platform so you get thrown onto the next ledge.
Next, speak to the large pianta lady and she will lob you upwards. The blue pianta up ahead will chuck you up and behind him. And finally, wait for the small pianta to line up with the platform to the left and then let him launch you right over to the Shine Sprite.
