Description¶
This page offers a guide on grabbing the Shine Sprite in Episode 5 of Noki Bay. This area is accessed by looking into the sun near the Shine Gate once you’ve collected 20 Shines back in Delfino Plaza.
The Return of Il Piantissimo¶
Il Piantissimo makes his triumphant return for this Episode, you may remember him from Gelato Beach’s Episode 5 and the same objective is true here, speaking to him (accessed by following the rope at the Course start) will see him place a flag down and you’ll need to race him to it in order to win.
Once the race starts, make use of the Hover Nozzle to go from platform to platform and then use the bouncing platform to launch you up where you can simply hover over to the flag, giving you a time of around 22+ seconds if all goes well. Il Piantissimo will usually reach the flag around the 30 second mark so aim to beat that and you should clear this simple race with little issue.
