Lead the Chain Chomp to the Bath¶
In this episode, you’ll need to lead the Chain Chomp over to the bath so he calms down. Throughout this episode, you’ll want to be using barrels of water and your water spray nozzle to temporarily keep him calm as when he’s red and angry he moves faster and you can’t drag his chain if you need to.
Firstly, you’ll need to subdue him using water and then follow him along the path on the right of the village. When the Chain Chomp is about to come to the first intersection, run and stand in the path that diverges left. When you stand in the Chomp’s way, it’ll go in a different direction as he’s trying to avoid you. Follow him up along the path and do the same at the next intersection and stand in the path going left.
By standing in the path, you’ll force the Chain Chomp to take the other route.
At the next split in the road, you’ll want to get him to go left, so stand in the road that’s heading downwards to make him go the other way. Now you’ll need to quickly run past him as he’s about to turn and stand to the left of the entrance into the bath section. When the Chomp reaches the bath, he will actually turn around and begin heading along the path again. Before he gets too far, press Y to grab onto the end of his chain and use it to pull him backwards into the bath. When he finally gets his bath, he’ll become a shine Golden Chomp!
The Chain Chomp will be shiny and golden once he’s had his bath!
