Description

This page offers a guide on Purple Coins in the Woods. To access this level, a Purple Comet needs to be in orbit in Gold Leaf Galaxy. For this to occur, you need to have completed the main story.

Collect all the Purple Coins

To complete this level, you need to collect all 100 Purple Coins within three and a half minutes. This is fairly straight forward as all you’ll need to do is follow the path along until you get to the tower. To the left of the big tree, there are 4 coins that you might miss unless you momentarily divert from the path. Right before you reach the tower, there is also a spring that you could miss, you’ll get 5 coins from jumping on the spring. But other than those two occasions, the rest of the coins will be easily grabbed from just following the path and the wooden beams all the way to the tower.

Follow the path across the planet to the observatory.

By the time you get to the tower, you’ll find a little Bee who tells you that you should have 70/100 coins. From there you’ll need to backflip up to the next level and grab the couple of coins. Then, you’ll need to make a leap for the high up platform and spin to just grab the ledge. Carry on up and along the tower and then groundpound the concrete block to spawn in a Sproutle Vine. Use the sproutle vine to get up the top of the observatory.

Then, climb up the tower to reach the top.

At the top of the observatory, a Bee will let you know that you should have 90/100 coins at this stage. That means you can grab the remaining 10 on this upper level. When you have all the Purple Coins, a Power Star will spawn at the center of the tower!
