Once you complete the first star of this course, you will find that there is something new in the first area, a Manta Ray. This creature doesn’t really do anything but swim around in a predetermined pattern, but you should notice that there are some rings coming out from behind it. Similar to the previous star, Through the Jet Stream, passing through these rings will cause a red number to appear, plus all of your health/oxygen will be replenished. Your goal for this star is to pass through five rings in a row, without missing any at all.

The star itself is easy, as you don’t have to worry about replenishing your health, but there does seem to be a bit of jank to the rings. Sometimes, it will look like you pass through one, but it doesn’t register in the game. Also, should you miss one, then you will have to start over from the very beginning. Once you pass through five rings, then the star will appear on top of the whirlpool.
