Description¶
This page offers a guide on grabbing the Shine Sprite in Episode 5 of Sirena Beach. This area is accessed via the pipe on the roof of the house at the Plaza Square once you’ve cleared Episode 4 of Pinna Park and defeated Shadow Mario back in Delfino Plaza.
Taking on King Boo¶
You’ll be back outside the resort for this episode and your first objective is returning to the Casino. Speak to the manager at the entrance to gain entry and then make your way to the room to the right of the bar to return to the Casino. Once inside, head onto the roulette wheel in the middle and perform a Ground Pound on the purple panel to find yourself below.
To begin with, be sure to Ground Pound any purple panels you spot, this will cause the wheel cease moving and allow you to get your bearings better. As for King Boo himself, spray him and he’ll activate some slots, stopping on bombs, coins, enemies and even fruit, you have no control over this so all you can do is wait and see what the outcome is.

The desired outcome however are the fruits, in particular, the Pepper. Grab this as quickly as possible and toss it at King Boo’s tongue, causing it to materialize and allow you to toss other fruits at him to deal direct damage. Repeat this process three times and King Boo will eventually yield, awarding you a Shine Sprite for your troubles.
