Description¶
This page is dedicated to the 4th episode in Gelato Beach. This is an episode in which you will need to collect 8 Red Coins in order to spawn in the Shine Sprite.
Into the Tower¶
Firstly, you’ll need to make your way over to the central tower just north of where you spawn in. You’ll need to perform some high jumps to get up to the higher ledge where the tower is. Sideways somersaults and triple jumps are the way to go! Next, head over to a small alcove in the cliff, just behind the tower, and spray water at the Dune Bud to reveal some hidden stairs up to the top of the cliff. Take the path up to the top of the cliff and then jump over to the springy cloth that’ll then launch you inside the tower.
Collect the Red Coins¶
When you enter the tower, you’ll spawn in on a large Sand Bird. 7/8 coins can be found easily on the Sand Bird’s body and are easy to grab. The 8th coin is on top of the tower in the center, but you cannot get to it until the Sand Bird flies up to it. You’ll need to stay on the Sand Bird as it flies around. At one point, the bird will flip and begin flying sideways! As it does this, you’ll need to move onto the side of the bird and wait until it begins to fly normally and then head back up onto the main part of its body. A little while after this occurs, the bird’s left wing will become level with the central tower and you’ll be able to head over and grab the final coin! The Shine Sprite will also spawn on this tower.
