Description¶
This page offers a guide on the secret episode Red Coin Chucksters in Pianto Village. This episode can only be accessed by replaying Episode 5: Secret of the Underside Village.
Hatch the Yoshi¶
Firstly, you’ll need to hatch the Yoshi again so you can access the village underside’s secret area. The Yoshi egg can be found near the bridge and he will ask for a random fruit. Luckily, all fruit grow on the same tree that’s on a hill near the bath from the previous episode. Pick the relevant fruit and take it back to hatch the Yoshi.
You’ll find each of the different fruits growing on this tree near the bath.
Once you’ve got Yoshi, read down across the bridge and jump off the cliff onto the bouncy green toadstool just below. Then, make your way across the toadstools towards the underside of the village. By holding down A/B when riding Yoshi, you’ll be able to fly for a short while in order to make long jumps between the toadstools.
When you reach the end of the toadstool path you should be able to spot a orange pile of goo on a pipe up ahead. Press X to use Yoshi’s juice to clear the goo and then you can head down into the secret section of this episode.

Collect all the Red Coins¶
Once you’re in the secret area, you’ll need to ground pound the red button to reveal the red coins. You’ll then have a minute and a half to collect all 8 red coins. The 1st red coin is right above the blue chuckster to the left of the button. Talk to the Chuckster to get him to chuck you into the air to grab it.
Talk to the blue Pianta to grab the red coin in the air.
Next, you’ll need to speak to the small pink Pianta who will then chuck you to the next platform, where you can find the 2nd red coin. Then, speak to the smaller Pianta when he’s near the edge of the platform so he chucks you over onto the next ledge. There are no coins on this next platform, so quickly talk to the large Pianta so he throws you up onto a higher ledge.
On this higher platform, you’ll be able to somersault and hover to grab the 3rd and 4th red coins. You’ll need to watch out for the Strollin’ Stus too! Once you’ve grabbed those, talk to the Chuckster to get chucked over to the next section. On this next platform, you’ll be able to jump up to grab the 5th and 6th red coin.
Watch out for the Strollin’ Stus as you grab the coins!
When you’ve grabbed those, hover back onto the platform with the Strollin’ Stus and then jump over to the platform with the rope. Grab the 7th coin on the platform and then head over onto the rope to grab the final 8th red coin. The Shine Sprite will spawn on the platform near the Strollin’ Stus.
