Description

This page offers a walkthrough of the Rolling in the Clouds Power Star in Rolling Green Galaxy. This galaxy is available in the Fountain dome and will have one Power Star. You will need at least 11 stars to unlock this galaxy.

Getting to Grips with Balancing

When you arrive on the first starting planet you will see the Power Star is right in front of you but is just incased in a ball - called the Star Ball. The sign will speak to you and introduce you to controlling the Star Ball with motion controls when Mario jumps on top. You can move the Star Ball by tilting your controller or your switch and jump by pressing B.

Take the Star Ball to the slightly raised platform and place it in the hole where you will fall onto the next planet. This platform will have Goombas and Mini Goombas who will charge at you when they see you but as you ride the Star Ball you will squish any enemy you come into contact with. The most enemies will do is disrupt your movement.

Goombas or Mini Goombas cant stop Mario when he’s on the ball.

On the next platform you’ll find yourself on a more perilous journey. This platform will have narrow paths, big holes and Goombas that can cause you to lose balance and fall into said holes.

In addition to all the dangers, there will also be 1-Up Mushrooms, Coins and Star Bits scattered around the area. Going for these extra goodies aren’t a necessity and can make your playthrough more challenging.

You will be faced with an option to take a route that has more Star Bits but will be on a narrow path or a route with a wider path but more holes and Goombas. It is best to try and avoid the Goombas when they’re close to the edge as one wrong move can send you plummeting.

Sometimes you can take small shortcuts when you’re rolling in the clouds.

Once you make it to the final hole the with the flag the Star Ball will shatter and the Power Star is now yours.
